i used turbo tax too and had the same question. i was looking on their help page and entered "stimulus". they answered the question but i am not clear on if it was in regards to the preceding passage regarding the third party bank that handles their RAL refunds or if it directly pertains to us (meaning turbo tax users who e-filed) i know this kind of sounds goofy but if you read it you will either see what i mean, what they mean, or be more confused. here is the passage:

Will my economic stimulus payment be direct deposited into the same bank account?
No. With the recent enactment of the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008, TurboTax does not ask for deposit information for your economic stimulus payment.

The IRS says taxpayers who use certain financial transactions with third parties to obtain their refunds will receive their rebates by mail—even if they got or will get their refunds by direct deposit.

Yes, if you had your refund direct deposited, your stimulus check will be direct deposited into the same account. If you go to the link below there is a table in the article of when you should expect you check as well.

I hope this helps.

Yep. If you had your refund direct deposit, the stimulus will be put in the same account. It starts in May, and they go in order of the last 2 numbers of your social.

yes. I believe they use the information off of your tax return.

How Rebates will be Processed:
The IRS will mail out two notices to taxpayers. The first notice will inform people about the rebate. The second notice will confirm the taxpayer's eligibility, amount of the rebate that the IRS has calculated, and when the taxpayer should receive the rebate payment. Rebates will be sent by direct deposit, if bank account information was provided on the 2007 tax return, or by paper check.
