If my kids have never gotten a regular flu shot, should I worry about getting them the H1N1 vaccine?

So, is it necessary to get them the H1N1 vaccine? If I did decide to, would that have any negative effects, since their body’s not had a flu shot before?

Kids 5 and 7 are at a higher risk for ALL type of flu. The problem with the H1N1 is that when it hits, it hits harder than most other flus.
The shots, though, are identical — they inject antibodies for the different flu strains, and the antibodies cause the body to build up an immunity. A severe reaction to the shots is VERY rare, and is usually caused by a reaction to the carriers used in the shot, and not to the antibodies themselves.
Due to the serious and dangerous possibilities if your children catch H1N1, it is very advisable to have them vaccinated.
