How long should I worry agout secondary infections from H1N1?
Bonnie K asked:
I have had H1N1 for five days now. Today is my first day fever free and I am feeling pretty good. When is the risk of getting a secondary infection over? I don’t have any risk factors, I am a healthy young adult.

It’s over, forget it. How can you be sure you actually had the swine virus and not another strain of the flu since routine testing isn’t being done?
Did you get vaccinated? If so, don’t get any more vaccines, they are designed to weaken your immune system and spread the virus…
Exercise, eat green leafy vegetables or even a juice fast for super fast recovery, and get plenty of sunlight, vitamin d (a hormone) produced by the radiation from sunlight activates your immune system so that it’s strong enough to easily fight off this influenza combo strain.
Really don’t worry too much about H1N1.
Btw, how do you know that you have H1N1? Did your doctor actually send a test to the CDC in Atlanta (which is the only way so far to know) or did he just tell you you had H1N1?
There is little data currently available on secondary infections as a result of swine flu. However, I would not be concerned. To date, there has been no recorded serious secondary complications as a result from H1N1(in health persons). What I would suggest is to use a hand sanitizer such as 3M Avagaurd or any other sanitizer products. I found dealmed.com to have a nice selection of these medical sanitizer products.
