Her plan failed because people had time to look at it, and see what an abysmal failure it would have been. With Obama, he wants to push it through so fast that people can’t get a good look at what he’s demanding they support. The White House is also, in violation of the law, asking people to report those that state opposition to this plan, in true Orwellian fashion. See link.

I voted for Obama to get our troops out of Iraq and to fix the economy. The economy looks like it will never recover and soon we will see another downturn, our troops are still in Iraq getting killed (but somehow the media does not think it is important enough to cover). He also promised that he would not tax the middle class.

Instead of doing what he promised, he is socializing medicine and trying to pass cap and trade. Both cap and trade and socialized medicine will be a tax on the middle class, unless you think that all of the people with no health care plan can be covered without the middle class chipping in. In the case of cap and trade you would have to think that the big businesses are so concerned about us that they will let the taxes hit their profits. I will not be making the mistake of voting for him again, I hope I am not alone.

The incentive to change was not as bad then as it is now.

I really think it has very little to do with who was pushing it.

Yes – Bill and her came and visited our public hospitals here in Australia that house the worlds top neuro and heart surgeons, diabetic clinics and research centres. Our Royal Flying Doctors for remote ares etc.
I am proud to pay taxes for our services. I am glad that every citizen in our country particularly children are provided with quality health care. They came and saw what America could have but better if you use your taxes to help your citizens rather than on guns and international political donations.
