Are most people for or against health care reform?

health care reform

Mr. LOL asked:

I’m confused. All the polls say majority of Americans are against the health care reform bill as it is currently “written”.

So why does President Obama say that bill will pass, guaranteed.

Is he not listening to the people?

They have the votes to push through whatever they want, regardless of opposition by the people or politicians.

The people want health care fixed, just not the junk being proposed. There is no cost control, no effort to cut stupid lawsuits, and way too much fed government.
    Need to resolve deficit.

Most people want to fix the health care system before it gets to expensive for the average person to use. However, the plan on the table does not meet those requirements.

I don’t think anyone is against health care reform. But the kind of reform being pushed out by congress makes more problems. It needs to start with tort reform and private sector incentives before it becomes just another out of control government bureaucracy.

Since when has Obama cared about the interests of the American people?

Because he is too arrogant to allow a little thing like the Constitution and We the People stop him from his plan to bring our country to its knees. His design for America equals that of any fascist dictator.
