Accupuncture?

I have an appointment next week for accupuncture to help me stop smoking. i always told myself, if I found out i was pregnant, i would stop smoking. I have found it extremely difficult but have cut right down in the number I smoke.
Has anybody had accupuncture done for this reason? How successful did you find it?
No judgemental answers please, just looking for a wee bit of support as I am willing to stop.

i havent had accupunture for smoking but accupunctures releases endorphins that make you feel better for a bit anyway. unfortunately, when i had it, since it made me feel better i kept repeating the offending behaviour that made me sick.
In double-blind tests, there is no difference between ‘properly’ applied acupuncture applied by ‘qualified experts’ and random stimulation. It is just a placebo.
